Why it matters
Write a short, honest paragraph: what about this work appeals to you, what you saw that concerns you, and whether you are in. If you are out, you have spent six hours instead of six months; that is the phase working as intended. If you are in, name the kind of product you would like to design (tools, health, education, fintech, games). You will use that later to choose a portfolio problem you can talk about with genuine interest, which reviewers can tell apart from a generic exercise.
