CV, LinkedIn and getting past the screen
After this you have a one-page CV and a profile that survive both automated screening and a six-second human scan.
Why it matters
Most applications are filtered before a human reads them, so the CV has two audiences. Practically: one page, plain structure, no columns or graphics that parsers mangle, keywords mirrored from the job post, and bullets that state outcome rather than duty. Lead with a link to the portfolio; for designers it is the only thing that really matters, and it should be visible without scrolling. Trap: an elaborately designed CV. It demonstrates the wrong skill, breaks parsers, and reviewers judge your craft from the portfolio anyway.
How to use this resource
From the person on the other side of the screening tool. Current, specific and blunt about what gets filtered.
