What SageLords is
SageLords organizes free teaching that already exists, mostly on YouTube, into ordered career tracks. It is free to use. Nothing on SageLords is for sale, and nobody may charge anyone on the platform for anything.
YouTube content
SageLords uses YouTube API Services, and videos are played from YouTube through its embedded player. SageLords does not host, own or claim any video; each remains the work of its creator. By using SageLords, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
Your account
- Learning does not need an account. If you create one, keep your password to yourself.
- One account per person. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
- You can delete your account at any time from the Account page.
Spaces, tracks and suggestions
- You are responsible for the tracks, descriptions and suggestions you publish. Link only to content that is publicly available and allowed to be embedded.
- Forking a track keeps a credit to the original. Do not present someone else's work as your own, and say so when you suggest your own video.
- Spaces are public to anyone with the link. Do not charge learners for access, and do not tie any paid service you offer elsewhere to a video.
- Track owners decide what goes into their tracks. SageLords decides what appears in the public catalogue and may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.
Credentials and outcomes
Levels describe how far a track takes you; they are not a job guarantee or an accredited qualification. Completing lessons does not earn certificates.
No warranty
SageLords is provided as is. Videos can change or disappear because their creators control them. We do our best to keep tracks accurate and working but cannot promise it.
