Prototyping in Figma
After this you can build a clickable prototype realistic enough that a usability test participant behaves as they would with a real product.
Why it matters
A prototype exists to be tested, so build only the fidelity your question requires. Learn connections, overlays, smart animate and interactive components; learn also when a static flow is enough. The specific skill for testing is building the paths a participant might *wrongly* take, not just the happy path, so that dead ends do not end the session. Trap: spending days perfecting animation on a flow whose structure has not been validated.
