The design process and the double diamond
After this you can name what stage of a project you are in and what the right activity is for that stage.
Why it matters
Discover, define, develop, deliver: two diamonds of widening then narrowing. Its real value is not as a ritual but as a diagnostic: most stuck projects are stuck because someone is trying to converge while the problem is still undefined, or generating options when a decision was already made. Learn it, then learn that real projects loop and skip stages. Trap: presenting a perfectly linear process in a case study. Reviewers find that less credible than an honest account of where you backtracked.
How to use this resource
A working designer walking through the model on an actual project rather than explaining the diagram. That difference matters.
