Delivering a strong take-home assignment
After this you can scope a take-home to the time allowed, deliver a clean analysis with a clear recommendation, and present it confidently.
Why it matters
Take-homes are judged like real work: did you answer the question, are the numbers right, is it easy to read, and did you state assumptions? Spend the first fifteen percent of the time on understanding the data and the last twenty-five percent on the write-up. Respect the time limit; going far over is often visible and rarely rewarded. Lead with the recommendation and keep the appendix for detail.
