Building a dashboard in a BI tool (Power BI, Tableau or Looker Studio)
After this you can connect a BI tool to data, build measures and visuals, add filters and publish a one-page dashboard.
Why it matters
Pick one tool and learn it properly; the concepts transfer. Power BI dominates corporate job adverts, Tableau is common in larger analytics teams and has a free public gallery for portfolios, and Looker Studio is free and pairs with Google Sheets and BigQuery. Focus on the data model behind the visuals and on calculated measures, not on formatting. The trap is a dashboard with twenty charts and no question it answers.
How to use this resource
A focused Power BI course from formatting to a full dashboard project. If you choose Tableau or Looker Studio instead, use the alternative for that tool.
