Python fundamentals for data work
After this you can write Python with variables, lists, dictionaries, loops, functions and imports, and run it in a Jupyter notebook.
Why it matters
Python is the analyst's second tool, for the jobs that are painful in SQL or spreadsheets: messy files, APIs, automation and statistics. You do not need to become a software engineer; you need enough fluency to read and write pandas code confidently. Work in Jupyter or Google Colab. The trap is spending months on general Python before touching data; get to pandas as soon as loops and functions feel natural.
