Presenting to executives
After this you can deliver a five-minute executive briefing that opens with the answer, survives interruptions and ends with a clear ask.
Why it matters
Executives often have ten minutes and will interrupt within one. Open with the answer and the ask; have the supporting detail ready but do not present it unless asked; anticipate the three hardest questions; and know your numbers without looking. When you are challenged, separate disagreement about the data from disagreement about the decision. The trap is presenting your analysis process; they want to know what to do.
