The entry-level market, honestly: pay, competition and what gets people hired
After this you can state realistic expectations about entry-level competition, pay and the time it takes to get a first analyst job.
Why it matters
Entry-level analyst roles attract hundreds of applicants, and certificates alone no longer differentiate anyone. The people who get hired usually show real work on real data, can talk about business impact, and often enter sideways from an operations, finance or marketing role where they were already the 'spreadsheet person'. Watch for that pattern in these videos, and consider whether you can analyse data in your current job before you leave it.
