Why it matters
Referred candidates are interviewed at a far higher rate than cold applicants. Ask for advice and a short conversation, not for a job; mention something specific about their work; make it easy to say yes. Share your projects publicly with a short write-up; it is how many analysts get noticed. The trap is mass-messaging strangers with your CV attached.
