What the interview loop looks like
After this you can describe each stage of a typical loop and what each one is assessing.
Why it matters
Know what each round is testing so you can prepare for it. The coding round tests problem solving and communication, not memorised answers. The take-home tests whether you write code someone would want to maintain. The design discussion tests whether you can reason about trade-offs. The behavioural round tests whether people want to work with you. Trap: preparing only for the coding round. Behavioural rounds reject more candidates than people admit.
