The behavioural round and telling your story
After this you can answer common behavioural questions with specific, structured stories from your projects and past work.
Why it matters
Behavioural questions ask about real situations: a hard bug, a disagreement, a mistake, something you are proud of. Prepare six to eight stories in advance, using a structure such as situation, task, action, result, and make the action part about what you did. Career changers have an advantage here: your previous work gave you stories about deadlines, conflict and responsibility. Use them. Trap: vague answers. 'I'm a team player' is not a story.
How to use this resource
A clear method that makes behavioural answers much less intimidating.
