React: components, props, state and effects
After this you can build a React interface from components, manage local state, and fetch data from an API with loading and error states.
Why it matters
React is the most widely used interface library, and its core ideas (components, props, state, rendering as a function of state) are worth knowing even if you later use something else. Focus on thinking in components, lifting state up, controlled form inputs, and fetching data with proper loading and error states. Read 'You Might Not Need an Effect' after you have used `useEffect` a few times; it will save you from a whole category of bugs. Trap: reaching for a global state library before you need one. Local state and props go a long way.
